Surely I didn't buy an apartment with a parking garage just to be prevented from using it. Make pedestrianized zones, restrict transit in central areas in cities, and invest in EV's... but banning cars just no. And driving is pretty cool on the whole.

@ukj5850 Why stuck? Plenty of places don't have traffic jams. They shouldn't go everywhere and some places in cities should have restricted car access but the freedom of movement a car gives you is undeniable.

@interestingman7458 Funny stat when I don't know many people who don't own a car. Still, easy... restrict traffic in central areas of cities and make more pedestrianized zones. I'm a driver, a public transport user and a pedestrian depending on the circumstances.

@interestingman7458 Parking garages were made for cars. We paid an extra for it and we keep the streets much tidier by not having to park on them. No politician in their right mind would ever prevent people from accessing their apartments on their cars.

@komojiro7397 A lot of people find driving quite an enjoyable activity yes. And some cars are a beauty. There's a certain degree of danger yes but drive responsibility, don't drink, etc. Statistically speaking the overwhelming majority of car drives don't result in an accident, so take that into consideration. But I gladly take the subway for inner city affairs. City centers should be as car free as possible, I have no problems with that.
