@sarahdavidson8527 "Could it be whole families where victims?" - This should be the case for the most part. Families gathered to try and escape the fire which unfortunately caught them all. Very few kids should have died on their own. The elderly on the other hand...

@jaykay9286 Why do you think they are having so much trouble identifying the victims, uh?
7
@kkeiter Kinda hard for many to go on with life as normal. Many are homeless, anxiety separation from their parents, a few might have left the island, etc etc.
7
Why the children in particular? It makes it seem nobody else matters.
6
It's important for kids to be with other kids and occupy their days.
5
No, of course not. The kids not enrolling doesn't mean they are missing.
5
Most children are with their families in shelters.
4
Not enrolled doesn't mean they are missing.
3
The kids are the students.
3
Because there aren't 2000 people missing let alone children.
3
No... not enrolling doesn't mean they are missing.
3
There aren't 3200 people missing. 2000 students didn't enroll, it's not the same as 2000 students are missing.
3
Most of them yes of course.
2
Because most children died with their families.
2
Because most people died together... the notion that a ton of kids died alone is not true.
2
@bukboefidun9096 Stop writing nonsense, it's not helpful.
2
Going to school will give them a semblance of normality.
2
@erastuserazade9785 Stop writing nonsense.
2
Most are in shelters.
2
For kids it's important to return to something with a semblance of normality and give them something to be occupied during the days.
2
Which is...
1
@R.Domane Same... yet the "kids were sent home" narrative spread since the beginning.
1
No, it's much less I'm sure.
1
@dennisthomas679 Kidnapped? Perhaps you could stop spreading misinformation and stupid rumours?
1
@dennisthomas679 What children? The ones who perished? In ashes obviously, there's your answer.
1
Most of them
1
@SN-bl6xm Power cuts as well I think.
1
@FairyMoonTarot I heard several people claiming the same yes, yet that "kids got sent home" idea got traction since the start. Thanks for the info.
1
Either dead or didn't report to the authorities yet.
1
Or didn't show up to claim they're alive.
1
Kids need to be with other kids.
1
How do you know the number of kids missing?
1
In shelters with their families
1
The fire took the ones who died, most others are in shelters.
1
@erastuserazade9785 Stop talking crap please.
1
Nope, many people claim school would only start the next day.
1
Not enrolling is not the same as missing.
1
@Vigilantwarrior42 Drop it, this is not a movie.
1
@GypsySoulPeace Please cut with the nonsense and the conspiracy theories.
1
Oh shut up.
1
What's the problem with 15 minute cities? The concept doesn't even make sense for a place like Lahaina.
1
You really think there are 2000 kids missing... seriously?
1
@TheChilKat Most parents of the children who died, died with them.
1
In shelters for the most part.
