Yeah, they're terrible.

@IntheMOMENT22173 The titles? Oh my... "Billionaires Are Secretly Directing Asteroids To Earth and We Don’t Know Why" - Seriously? "Something Weird Is Happening in The Netherlands" - Yeah, they know how to build great dams and water systems. Make no mistake, I love Thoughty's videos but the clickbait is getting quite ridiculous.

@duncanglen3452 The thumbnail (title as well) for the Netherlands video is hilariously bad, has nothing to do with the video itself.

@DroneStrike1776 Yes, but that artwork refers to the animations in the video, for the thumbnails he just uses an AI program like Midjourney, enter a prompt and you're done.

@NachsteNachdemGaming Aside from 1 guy I don't think anyone is unsubscribing. The videos are still pretty good. On the other hand people have the right to criticize stuff, comment sections are not fan clubs.

@bobthegoat7090 "Well, the thing is… they work" - They work? Looking at the channel's numbers the views and subs didn't increase since he started using AI thumbnails so the effect is non-existent in that regard. People don't complain about the lack of sources because they came to trust Arran and that's all on him. And that's why having cheap ridiculous AI thumbnails annoy so many people, they don't match the good content.

@slayingroosters4355 True but they've been progressively getting more outlandish. The first ones were ok.

@timothyds7453 You are right, the question here is more good AI vs bad AI and the original thumbnail sucked.

Your AI thumbnails are so cheesy... c'mon. 😂
1
@sown-laughter4351 Because the videos are good.

@DUKEHadToDoItToEm C'mon, it's pretty obvious he's using an AI program like Midjourney to create most thumbnails. They scream AI.

@G_Signer The original thumbnail was a Japanese guy riding a missile. Quite cringe.

@RustyPudder-q7c 5.3 million? This video didn't even get 1 million views of which only a small percentage even left a comment. Still, there's nothing stopping you from criticising stuff whenever you feel it's justified, doesn't matter if you're in the minority or not.

@TheSkidds I do both, I go outside to touch grass and I argue about thumbnails, especially when they are cringe like the original one.

@TheSkidds A comment section is not a fanclub.
