So instead of trying people to feel safe you just ask them to leave? Not the best attitude.

@NicolasHaufe You don't rule the place all on your own, do you? If you treat people poorly for no reason at all prepare to be counteracted people who rule the place as much as you.

@Kartoffelsuppe_m_Wursteinlage Many of these students will likely remain in Germany after their degrees, pay taxes, contribute to the economy, etc. But hey, it's a two-way street, there are German nationals studying abroad as well. We don't know the level of German from the girl in the video, but after one year sure it won't be enough to talk to the cameras fluently, so she naturally went with English. Bottom line, there's absolutely no reason to make them feel unwelcomed.

@echochamber1234 Media in Europe is usually quite centrist and then there's some exceptions to both sides. I fail to see what's so far left about them though. Promotion of Communism and/or Anarchism? Can't see it. Also, it's disheartening that nowadays people are put in right/left boxes just based on their attitudes towards immigration. There's much more to politics than just that.

They're the ones you can tell about it, not you

@NicolasHaufe I'm aware of that but are you making innocent people pay for that?

@Kartoffelsuppe_m_Wursteinlage The US is not a good example since the tuition fees there are absurd. I prefer the public funded European model and education not being treated as a commodity. I don't get the feelings argument. We lead our lives based on them, even your rethoric is based on feelings. I'm not a student btw.

@drweb0 The general public will keep voting overwhelmingly for center-right and center-left parties. People don't move their core ideals just like that.

@drweb0 Blanket arrests? Everybody who was detained has commited some sort of crime... not surprising considering around 70% of the rioters had a criminal record already. If there are innocents in there the judges will let them go. I'm fairly sure the police didn't jail peaceful protesters and onlookers.
