  48.  @datmeme8967  I read the island was without any phone service (land or cell) a couple hours before the fire so I can only assume vital infrastructure was knocked down.

  49.  @datmeme8967  I can't pinpoint where I read that given the amount of sources I read for the past days. Not all will be entirely accurate but I remember reading there were power outages and failing phone services a couple hours before the fire enter Lahaina.

  56.  @earlthepearl4161  It's not that hard to understand really, just a basic knowledge on how trees react to fires. Needless to say that it's quite different from metal.

  57.  @earlthepearl4161  I don't know about you but those trees look pretty burnt to me. Never seem the aftermath of a forest fire with mostly charred trees still standing? Some trees may have been vaporized but yeah, you cannot see them for obvious reasons. If you don't want to believe random strangers online do some Googling on the subject.
