@hans-joachimbierwirth4727 Thunderf00t is done because Elon Musk bought Twitter?

But hell, another 36 minutes on Elon Musk. I doubt we'll get more than 5/10 minutes of new material.

@stickiedmin6508 Aren't subscribers to channels allowed to express their opinions? I doubt Thunderf00t wants his comment sections filled with yes men.

@stickiedmin6508 I'm subscribed to the channel so it's irrelevant if YouTube offers me more or not... it's on my subscriptions tab. Yes men are people who are totally uncritical to a creators' output. I'm behind his message against Elon Musk but also find his content to be extremely repetitive on this issue. I'm sure there will be a small part about the Twitter acquisition and then most of the video will be filled with stuff he already talked about a million times before.

@charlidog2 And you are acting like a Thunderf00t fanboy.

1 million subs is not bad at all.

That's the least interesting aspect about him.

Yeah... too much repetition.

@stickiedmin6508 The way people use YouTube varies a lot... I have some 50/60 subscriptions because those are the channels that peak my interest the most and the channels I will watch all or almost all of their content. As for calling this shit out, of course it's important, but I think he would make a much better job with 10 minute bursts of video criticisms rather than a bloated 36 minute one on the back of many others quite long as well. The people most in need to be targeted with this info won't sit through such a long video because yes... in these times full of people trying to get our attention, 36 minutes is a lot. For the regulars it will be more of the same. Either way, regardless of our points of view, it's always good to have a civilised discussion. 👍

@AnubisSolvang He still does science here and there but for some years now he's more of a debunker than an educator... even though you could argue that by debunking you are also educating. Veritasium and Real Life Engineering for instance cover the education niche better.
