  2. Churchill wrote that they would often target less armored areas. There were cases of knights that had their legs pinned to their horse. That corroborates the side shots. Why would they abandon a six foot long bludgeon to go on the attack? Have you ever swung a golf club? And these were horn tipped, yeah? Inch and a half thick wood at the middle too. I doubt they were as exclusive about the use of their weapons as the modern competitive archer is. Just trying to advance the science. You're really onto something here.
