  10. Biden's statement of a desire for competition was a sign of weakness to China. The situation has already evolved past a competition. The Taiwan outcome all depends on how well Taiwan prepares its defenses, and whether it continues to improve its reserve element. US needs to deliver all those weapons they contracted for, and Taiwan needs to buy smaller missiles and weapons in larger quantities. Taiwan must be prepared to stand on its own for as long as possible. The more they depend on the US and its allies, the less certain the outcome becomes.

The U.S. military was probably trying to determine that location and method. We need to "Deleverage" from China. That means isolating them from our assets, and encouraging financiers to limit their exposure to essential exchanges.

If anyone hasn't read Sun Tzu yet, it's a must read introduction to the Total War philosophy, and it's only about 70 pages, with free online translations.

  25. "Follow the Money" - BlackOps is absolutely right. Both parties are on the take, and those politicians and talking heads got us into this mess. Read Sun Tzu's "The Art if War." All the fundamentals if what's happening now are in there. Trump was manipulated into starting the withdrawal from Afghanistan. That forced our hand ti leace too quickly, but it was inevitable. Setting up in there was an obvious mistake from the beginning. Corporate greed kept us there. We overstep our rights every time we interfere with another government. We need to work from our sovereign position.
