  5. If the Fed is going to 4% by '23, why would they not go .75 next time around? These expectations of a lower increase seem to be based on self delusions. The Fed can always skip an increase afterwards, and certainly they have plenty of room to adjust on the way to higher rates. The benefit of the shock effect of a .75 percent increase should not be underestimated.

According to some very well known advisors, the VP choice does not really affect the outcome in that individual's State. What does matter is losing a seat in the Senate, or a sitting Governor in a swing state.

They're certainly not going to be in a position to drop rates. They never said that, and it's very misleading and opportunistic for any analysts to say that they did.
