You called it. I'm thinking back to the Korean War when we couldn't field enough men, equipment and supplies to prevent North Korea from pushing our combined force all the way down to Busan. We deployed policing equipment from Japan as a stop gap, but we had no heavy armor until Sea Lift could get it there from the United States. We lost a lot of people because of inadequate means on the ground. If we hadn't gotten that badly needed equipment, we could have lost Korea altogether.

If this means higher port fees, I'm going to have to switch to beer. πΊ

People like this don't care as long as they get theirs, they hardly care about their own kids.
29
Arse Protection π

Tariffs kill small business.
24
It seems like the PMA doesn't like paying American wages.
23
MAGA flags too! π€

Two merchant marines walk into a bar...
18
Well, you know who has final authority on that one. Whitehouse doesn't want to draw attention to it so they don't plan more "events."
17
Good work, Navy! βοΈ Very informative, thanks.
15
Imagine being a full-fledged citizen of such a powerful country, and not doing your due diligence on who you are voting for! No voter left educated!
12
Lithium...? Man, I hope they can find those other four guys.
12
@steveb796 exactly as said, our partisan Supreme Court has failed to defend our Constitution from their own self-interests.
11
βΒ @5thribroarn304Β Hillary Clinton? Don't you mean SpongeBob?
11
I wouldn't want to be breathing burning lithium.
11
Plus he's talkIng about government purchases... π Lot's of foreign made MAGA trucks too. Lol
11
And those tugs are down low where they can get hit by burning debris or fuel.
11
I'm glad you talked about the rape cases. That really hit me when I read these cases. Why would anyone want to put themselves in a situation where they have no control, when there is literally no enforcement of the rules? BTW, our pay in the Army sucked too, but that was a long time ago. Now they just poison the water.
10
Now, that's something really scary!
10
Indeed it does
9
Yep, it's always simpletons struggling for power.
9
It's amazing what we did when we all pulled together as a team! π
9
GO ARMY! π€
9
How do we know ChatGTP didn't get its nomenclature from the military?
9
Thank You for pronouncing "nuclear" correctly. There are some morons on YouTube...
8
Well,... it's a deep subject. They've already chased off a Russian ship that was hovering over a cable.
7
No raises for three years, in THIS job market? Good luck with that, and good night! lol - no scabs...
7
Reminds me of that TV show, "Threshold". Now those were some alien influenced protesters! It was probably good to have that security review happen with unarmed people.
7
What about the oil market in South America? PetroBras and Ecopetrol specifically, where does theIr stuff go?
7
Back Pay
7
Dude, where's my car? π
7
ββΒ @mirror452Β Wasn't me. Blame the UN. Know your history. Another sore loser. Too bad our politicians started giving up before the job was done.
7
I see on this channel, the paid trolls aren't even trying to hide their nationality.
7
Liability Charge! So, now we will hear how the crew had no idea they were dragging anchor. πMake them pay damages. Cool story, Prof, but I'm not ruling out aliens. π Pescov probably cooked up this whole plan by himself. Yeah, if it was really bad weather, a bunch of drunks might not notice the vibration from the anchor dragging along a pipeline and two undersea cables. π
6
You can believe that place crawls with SVR and PLA operatives. I've run into people with that strangely "American" accent like the retired KGB agent had on TV... π Julie! Come get your brother!
6
One of the biggest problems with combustion engines is they use air as oxidizer. It winds up producing NOx from the nitrogen. Oxygen Concentrators can remove the nitrogen before combustion.
6
Meanwhile, to hear Yahoo Finance, Fed already cut rates yesterday. π€ͺπ India has a big bulky bully for a neighbor. They need a strong military. I'm glad I switched to Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd. π€ ππ Thanks for the report.

He's a con artist.

Most of the people making money off of automation didn't even build the machines. Let automation do as much as it can, but offest the wages that humans would have made and let them supervise. The only employers who are complaining are the ones who don't do any of the work anyway. Everybody helped develop AI, let us all benefit. No-one should have to work overtime to make ends meet. That was not the plan in the first place. What about Seattle? Is it too small to make a dent? I know they have some environmental concerns.
6
Welp... ZIM is way up from last week. That's weird timing.
6
That's a great point about Admiral Nimitz.
6
Well, that was before Helena. These shipping companies think they're untouchable.
6
That's a great idea! I was just asking on their news report when that thing was going to rust through! π Has China struck again after the 8th? 'Cuz the US did not scare them away. Philippines barely got past them. Yes we had a plane there, but that was about it. They just Commissioned two US patrol boats. π They want a submarine. China is claiming the whole nine dash line as sovereign territory, not just as their EEZ.
6
Health! Eat yer yogurt and applesauce! What happened to the 60% tariffs on China? Why did he drop it to 10, and then drop it?
6
Discount from what? Nobody gives a discount unless they get something in return.
6
Reality Show π
6
It's not just a branch of the government. Look around you...
5
Why not, "The Black Fleet!" β οΈ π¬

That hull looked corroded where the damage was. Am I seeing that right? 15 yr old ship?

I wonder who really owns those last few publishers of textbooks. Every college seems to be using the exact same ones. There only a very few actual publishing conglomerates in control of everything our students learn.
