That was some peace talk.

We passed the tipping point 20 years ago. All we can do now is try to minimize the damage as much as possible, but it still looks really bad.
200
Come on Scholzy, give them the tanks!
167
It's now time to give them the ATACAMS for the HIMARS.
110
It is always interesting how the polls never match the surveys in elections.
98
If Russia doesn't want it, it must be a good idea. Because obviously, the last thing Russia wants is to do what makes sense.
79
That's ridiculous. Ukraine will lose their momentum. Who's side is he on? Russia must leave Crimea and Donbas, and Putin must step down.
77
Eastern European nations knew the wind would blow back towards Russian imperialism. That's why they all wanted in NATO.
69
Other leaders should listen to this guy.
67
See, this is what a Battleship is for... I guess they should'a kept their nukes. Putin sure noticed... Just as Russia is free to put their troops wherever they want, so too can Ukraine join NATO as it wants to.
65
π We are very angry. You must do as we say, not as we do!
63
I'm aghast this is still an issue after all that's happened. Clearly, Netanyahu's judgement is not as good as he thinks it is.
60
Those trees aren't going to help for years. You'd better keep planting and never stop.
56
It doesn't matter what Ukraine agrees to, Putin will keep raising the bar.
55
I hope they have a complete list of all the troops still alive.
49
Stalled Again? The Security Council suffers from the same disfunction as the UN as a whole. It's rules are designed to keep members engaged, but the rules don't take into account political changes that can occur in any country. There is no enforcement mechanism for membership. NATO has a similar problem. What if a member is no longer a democracy? It is a requirement, but not enforceable.
47
PLA wanted to know how long it would be before you figured it out, and how long it will take to repair it. Obviously it's a preliminary step to cut communications. You need to task a satellite to the area.
47
Just for reference, the Death Valley record was 56.6Β°C, or 134Β°F. We routinely hit 50Β°C in the U.S. now. π’
45
They didn't even get Mig-29s until Poland finally took the leap almost a year late. All of this delay is costing the whole world in lives and money.
41
Europe walked right into this with their eyes wide open. π
36
Well, he knows what'll happen. Just like with NATO, He'll get more.
35
Russia losing the war in so many words. SLAVI UKRAINI!!! πΊπ¦πΊπ¦πΊπ¦ The normal thing to do at this point would be to punch into Russia, and take out their supply lines around Belgarod.
34
What it boils down to, pun intended, is that the CO2 will not dissipate for centuries, so what the author is saying is that whatever level it is when we achieve net zero, that is what it shall be for the forseeable future. That level will stay unless we proactively reduce it our selves. That level of heat will also stay for the forseeable future unless we do something about it directly.
33
That's a total "in your face", going right to Izyum. He's got the confidence to do that. That's got to be humiliating to Putin.
32
It seems like you can't go into politics in South Korea without some kind of scandal being attached to you. Violence is no way to solve political disagreements.
31
Bakhmut is like Antitem or Gettysburg, or Northern Virginia for that matter. The specific location isn't important so much as stopping the enemy from advancing from where he is. A more strategic city would be Donetsk.
28
You know Russia's not going to just let this be easy. I love the way these inspectors just step right into the grain...
28
This is looking more and more like a type of World War that we didn't expect. The Bomb really changed the ways future wars can be fought
28
Amazing Lady, R.I.P. after 70 years of service to her country and the World.
27
I want to know more about this AA tank. This anti-aircraft equipment from Germany appears to be a medium range system that should really help fill in some gaps in coverage, especially for low,er flying aircraft and hopefully, cruise missiles. The U.S. invented hypersonics, Putin can go stuff it.
27
;P "Multiple Chinese fighter jets crash in Taiwan Straight after simultaneous technical malfunctions"
26
It's a good thing they're working things out. We don't need these internal squabbles.
26
If China sees an opportunity, they'll take it. Meanwhile Taiwan is making that less likely. China has attacked Taiwan in the past and failed.
25
This is what happens when you have soft politicians for the last 40 years. You know he's paid off. His own people don't want it.
24
It's always a matter of time before a dictator flexs his muscles. This was inevitable, and it's more about pride than oil.
24
βΒ @ramanraj6144Β and we still see it in Iraq, Libya, and Syria.
22
Which one is better for PBR? People who cry corruption are often trying to cover up their own.
20
Hit 'em back hard!
20
I remember when nobody was making 152 & 122mm ammunition, but now they are. The wheels are beginning to turn.
19
Is Europe going to keeo letting Putin salami slice bits of neighboring nations every time he threatens nuclear war?
19
Why doesn't the Philippines π΅π navy get a bigger boat? China: "This is our fort!" - reminds of the little kids next door telling me my back parking deck is theirs. π Dang US gathering! We should have always been ready to handle two major conflicts since World War II - Because we did! Now it's China and Russia, instead of Japan and Germany. The two theaters of World War II were on opposite sides of the Globe. There is a difference in semantics, but that's about it. We did it by "gathering allies." π
19
It's either a cold war, or it's gonna be a hot war. You must choose, but choose wisely! π€ͺ
19
Well, it could have been worse. Thinking of the Battle of Los Angeles, when a lot of people were killed by falling antiaircraft fire.
18
Where is the actual no fly zone anyyway? Keep those 20mm auto-cannons warm!
18
This is the first time Scientific American has ever endorsed any Presidential candidate in over a hundred years of operation. This is a Donald Trump Special.
18
Who is we, comrade?
18
It would be interesting to know how this affects the birth rate.
17
It's not that China was the only source. It was that they were subsidizing labor, and our politicians were more than willing to look the other way whilst their stocks grew in value.
17
He was taking his, "diplomacy" in the wrong direction. π
17
Why are we always fighting the wrong wars and not the right ones? Are all our politicians cowards? The military is obviously not!
