Actually, the fact that Prigozhin stepped down so easily makes Putin's influence look all that much stronger. All it took was a few words and it was all over.

Donetsk Donetsk Donetsk! πΊπ¦πΊπ¦πΊπ¦ They had to get all that other stuff worked in before those tanks would have been effective. We didn't send Bradleys and other AFVs first because we're cheap. Those tanks need to be protected from flanking attacks and infantry.

So is this what, "Fortitude" was based on? It's interesting to see there are supporters of the "republics". Dictators always bring tragedy.
6
Let us all remember the noble scientists who have their lives to warn the rest of the world.
6
The only "American" news channel I know of that has comments turned off is PBS. They don't need or want anyone's opinions but their own.
6
It was me: I told them it would be a great April Fool's story, but they got the dates mixed up.
6
Some people are just too afraid of a good pun. π
6
Just like Trump
6
32 shells fired in, but we keep seeing the one same hole in the wall all day. It's starting to look suspiscious, and I'm on their side...
6
"Fighter Jets were never off the table..." π
6
Those cosmonauts better definitely get a ride to the U.S. on Space-X when they're done!
6
Actually, it is true. They simply need far more equipment to do so.
6
Get 'em! π It's referendum time! Turnabout is fair play. πΊπ¦πΊπ¦πΊπ¦πΊπ¦πΊπ¦πΊπ¦πΊπ¦πΊπ¦πΊπ¦πΊπ¦πΊπ¦πΊπ¦
6
What does that have to do with a democratic election in Turkye. Are saying you favor dictatorship over freedom of choice?
6
The Chinese pose no threat, they simply want to take over the World, peacefully or otherwise. ππππ₯ Glad Australia's on it! π¦πΊπ¦πΊπ¦πΊ π€ π
6
Actually, democracy has everything to do with international relations because how you treat your people is how you will treat your neighbors.
6
Zaporihzihzia is Russia's foothold in the area. They're not going to give it up without a fight. Their whole advantage is the nuclear material. Ukraine needs to keep hitting the area with drones and contain the Russians within the plant itself and not allow re-armament.
6
No way. They've got to leave Crimea!
6
Kharkiv is pivitol to this conflict. Russia will be back. Ukraine needs hold it even if they have to pull back from the Donbas. From there, they can retake later. Strategically, attacking through Kherson serves the purpose of a flanking maneuver.
6
Russia wants the whole Donbas, Crimea, a port for Moldova, and a land bridge between them all. Once Putin gets that, if he's still alive and China hasn't attacked Russia, he'll keep moving west. Maybe he'll pick a fight with Japan for good measure.
6
Sterility causality
6
Strategy Successful πΊπ¦πΊπ¦πΊπ¦ It is foolish to be intimidated by any threat of the use of nuclear weapons. The possibility to avoid that threat came and went with the Manhatten Project. When faithless scientists facilitated the gain of nuclear weapons for the Soviet Union, they eliminated that possibility. You can think what you want about democratic principles, but the opportunity ended then and there. Now, there will always be the risk of nuclear annihilation for everyone. It serves no purpose to be afraid of it, only to be prepared for it.
6
It's our job to be pessimistic. π As we can see, Ukraine has somewhat delayed the beginning of their counterattack, and perhaps, they are being more conservative in their expectations. It's very important not to overextend at this point in the war. Marines are special forces. We have them at every embassy around the World. This is nothing new. Nor is having training specialists in theater during a war.
6
She's one of the best analysts on the war. Most people appear to be guessing a lot.
6
You get what you pay for. It's easy to make money when you cheat.
6
China had a lot of money in svb. Coincidence?
6
Yeah, they'll probably blow up as many plants as they can on the way out, including Zaporihzihzia.
5
They do it with presidents too. Hu, you ask?
5
I hope she can fly! π€
5
Robots are taking over, Again?
5
So we can just take China's pathology reports, and multiply the statistics by 10.
5
Rich Moscovites...
5
So, there you go. Even with the extra maintainence, they are still better than T-72s.
5
Wherever it ain't, it will be.
5
Speak for yourself.
5
Maybe we should be giving Ukraine ballistic missiles.
5
They also need to coordinate on a standardization for all of these various Leopard IIs to avoid more logistics trouble.
5
Who's fault is it if Ukraine gets overrun?
5
Where's all the antiair and attack aircraft they were promised? They also need to be free to counterfire Russian artillery across their borders.
5
Not like the days of the closed system I trained for. You weren't connected to the internet, just a private network - a REAL private network.
5
Hit 'em back - HARD! Slava Ukraini! πΊπ¦πΊπ¦πΊπ¦πΊπ¦πΊπ¦πΊπ¦πΊπ¦
5
Has anyone traced Facebook back to any Chinese or Russian organizations? 'Cuz they sure are working for them.
5
Hit 'em in the front, and hit 'em in the back, just like last time.
5
What happened with Hungary's opposition? The future ain't here yet, folks. Erdogan wanted F-35s too, but he totally blew that. He just does what he feels like, and then he deals with the consequences. Watch Erdogan's parliament vote this down after he gets his concessions. He's right about the anti-terrorizm. Better hold those F-16s though.
5
Gotta keep the hook going...
5
But he might! π
5
One of these things will push Putin over the edge. We should be ready for it. This is no time to be squeamish. We're at a turning point in history and we can't capitulate to tyranny.
5
Russia
5
Putin's just getting started. His frustration grows every day, and when his temper finally blows, he will try to go all out. Never mind the tactical nukes. He's warming up for all out war.
5
Donetsk is the enemy's hub. Don't believe me? Try and take it, and watch what happens. It's actually happening already. They have been taking extra steps to protect it from the beginning. That's why they wouldn't give up on Bakhmut - it's a buffer.
