  1. Every country is going to need nuclear energy at some point, so we might as well all get ahead of the game. Renewable systems certainly have a place, but they are not complete answers. Ironically, the more trees we cut down, the more forest lands will burn down. Trees help grab moisture out of the air, and they help retain it in the soil mitigating draught. They also are the most efficient carbon capture system we can readily use. Organic systems far outpace anything man made we can conceive, so they are the easiest to do and they are the low hanging fruit. Pun intended.
