  1. One thing is clear: China did it, and they covered it up. It makes little difference now where it evolved. Their coverup caused the pandemic. The origin of the pandemic is the Chinese Communist Party's coverup. The spread of the virus could have been contained if China had been transparent about it, then it wouldn't have turned into a pandemic in the first place. Instead, they went around the World, buying back masks and other PPE, ensuring that the virus would be able to spread throughout other countries and be able to circulate around the World from multiple directions. Pandemic literally means a spread virus that has crossed over to other countries from where the first infections occured.
