  2. Methanol is way better than Ethanol in as far as it can be produced from chaf and switchgrass instead of driving up the price of corn like ethanol does. Big farm investors are the ones pushing ethanol, not science. The big remaining problem with ICEs is that the nitrogen that causes NOx pollution is in the air itself. They can use oxygen concentrators to remove it.
