  3. PFAS, plasticizers, also microplastics, are all a hazard. The State of California is suing Big Oil over this stuff (of course they are.) Our artificial chemicals could pose the greatest threat to the human race, even greater than global warming or nuclear war, because it is so insidious.

  4. If notice, since the Obama administration, they have been quietly phasing out Teflon pots, and replacing them with "Ceramic" coatings. Ceramics are also a danger because of silica dust.

  5. A big part of all this has been World Wars and the military industry. We were in a crisis mode and rushing headlong into manufacturing to defeat existential threats.
