  3. It's important to remember that Congress has final authority over the military, not the President. This guy is not accurately representing the Constitutional Mandate of the military. Their ultimate goal is to enforce and protect the Constitution of the United States. This includes against a tyranical President and to enforce an impeachment conviction. They are absolutely not denying their oath to the Constitution by speaking out against a corrupt President.

  44. I think reality is imposing itself on the goal of this discussion. Some people really are criminals, so police work cannot be fully abandoned. We can demilitarize the police force though. It's always been a mistake to let them progress to that tactical level, because it encourages an adversarial relationship with normal citizens, which of course, is the exact opposite if what police are for.
