@wolfswinkel8906 I will upset You further. The Minsk agreement does not tell about autonomy. This is a Russian interpretation. It does not say what the referendum should deal about. Russia knew that they do not could win a referendum, it is a therefore they invaded instead of adressing the United Nations.

The Minsk agreement was a total victory for Ukraine. The Russians should leave and a refererendum be held under Ukrainian law. But the Russians never left.

@wolfswinkel8906 Thank You for Russian story telling. The Russian Federation Council decided on the first of March 2014 to send troops to Ukraine. Of courses Ukraine had the ambition to the throw out the invaders. No wrong with that. They mobilized 14 brigades, but could not get rid of them. Negotiations gave the the Minsk agreements, where Russians should leave and a refererendum should be held under Ukrainian law. But Russia broke the agreement by not leaving.

@OshinNatasha-c5u Putin wanted to avoid war. If Russia suspected that some Ukrainians was bad treated they should have addressed the UN which could have made investigations and if necessary sent UN forces. They did not. They invaded, which shows that all they say is false.
