  1. Don't agree with Dominix re if there had been mobile phones in ww1. Most people were patriots and wanted to fight and beat the Germans. We can see Ukraine as the model for this theory: lotanof video of death and destruction but no widespread riots and protests in Russia, Ukraine or elsewhere, to stop it. The first world war was a just war against the Germans and Austrians, for they invaded other countries foe poor reasons, backed by their wider worldview that they should take control of other countries. History is not how the BBC or other low depth documentaries describe it.
