  1. Hi Dr. John. My wife is an ex nurse of many years (retired) and found Nursing times advice that there is no need to draw back the plunger anymore unless giving into the deltoid muscle. That was 2013 advice. Apparently thinking is that the needles arentoo short to reach a blood vessel? Obviously more research should be done on this. Good videos by the way.
