  1. NO. Blunt was passing information to the soviets. The soviets decided to allow the Germans to obtain relevant information through sources they controlled. The soviets had extreme reasons to stop the allies from reaching Berlin before them. D Day was pf benefit to them, so they knew about it through Blunt's passing of information, but they didn't let the Germans see it. Market Garden was possibly going to speed the allies progress into Gernany, potentially beating them to Germany. Blunt carried on passing secrets to his soviet handlers without knowing that they would pass some of it to the Germans. Blunt wasn't a German spy
