@taylorsmith9629 want facts? Ok, the median income of households with student loans is $76,400. Those with high loan balances account for nearly 40 percent of the $1.6 trillion in outstanding federal student loans. Borrowing for graduate degree programs has been a primary driver of the growth in federal lending. People signed a contract. They should honor it.

@taylorsmith9629 ah. Now we’re getting down to the truth of the matter. Maybe just maybe an exception can be made for cases like yours. But to blanket amnesty for all is dangerous and wrong.
