  2. It’s pretty weird and jarring to go from a highly tech centric car to one with out even a single computer chip in it and totally mechanical. Like I daily an almost fully loaded newer Cadillac and I also have a 69 deville. When I drive the 69 it’s really weird at first and I have to readjust my self and the way I drive.

  3. Yeah actually it’s way cheaper to produce… it’s a button controlled by software. Besides, cables stretch and break and seize and things always go wrong with mechanical e brakes. 99% of cars are fine with electronic e brake. I understand what people are talking about with e brakes and wanting the brake lever right by your right arm, but most people aren’t car people and aren’t into sliding around corners or drifting etc.

  5.  @camejuanm  yes there are plenty of reasons, they are complaining because they all think they are drift kings and they all slide around every corner and rally cross all day. They don’t realize 99% of consumers don’t want a mechanical e brake. I’m all for mechanical e brake on performance cars, same with manual trans. But it’s just like why manufactures produce more SUV’s and crossovers is because that’s what’s going to sell the most of and make the most money.

  7.  @lockonstratos7787  yep that happens to every single car with an electronic e brake! Mechanical e brakes don’t have cable stretch or seize or even break!! They are totally perfect designs. Infact why don’t we just go back to mechanical everything! Even drum brakes!! In case you can’t tell that was sarcasm…
