  1. There are actually electric turbos that work. It’s not those crappy little little Fans you put in your intake pipping. The electric turbos look like a turbo with no hot side. They do work but need massive amounts electriccy to spin up to actually condense air.

  2. Yeah that’s really dumb! That was a serious straight pipe!! Engines are back pressure sensitive. An X pipe actually helps with exhaust scavenging.

  3. You are wrong on intercooler. It’s a tricky situation. Top mounted have less lag because less path for air to travel. But they also heat soak a lot more and are pretty much useless under 10-15 mph, Heat rises. Front mount intercooler will help to keep the charge denser but also can create more lag because of longer piping to travel through. My car has the intercooler samwiched between the radiator and condenser. They are known to heat soak after few pulls. But zzp makes growing mount kit, which is bigger and flows more air but also can increase lag somewhat.
