  4. I’ve tried prolube which is a friction modifier. Didn’t really notice any difference. Put it in power steering and oil. Says you can put it in your trans too. I didn’t do that. I put shudder dr in my trans and that did seem to help with the shudder.

  5. Well one it’s a dealer so the mark up is super high. Figure new motor is 10k, labor taking old one out and installing new one etc etc. dealers are only worth it if you have a warranty. There are plenty of smaller shops that would just do the timing prob charge 2k max.

  6. @ complete brand new 3.6tt motors are about 8-10k but you are 100% right about 19k being outrageous. I would love to see the price breakdown of that quote they gave him.

  8. I’ve used engine flushes before. They can cause oil leaks in older engines with old seals, but they do work
