  1. I’m an American and I have never been confused about what the lights mean or driver is doing. Only time it’s been an issue is when people drive with a turn signal on and they aren’t turning. I put Amber turn signals and red brakes lights in my STS4 I wanted the the Amber signals for my ats but I didn’t wanna spend extra couple hundreds for the the Amber signal. I bought clear brake lights for the ats. Clear with red only was 180 and with Amber signals was little over 400. Not worth it for cosmetic item I’ll never get to see.

  2. It’s about cost. Red is cheaper then having red and Amber.
