They're desperately trying to starve reform of the oxygen of publicity
6
This country was unable to feed itself when the population was half what it is now
5
The guests are no strangers to torching the accommodation that they've been provided with
3
@nickfba Is that how they teach you to argue in the labour party ? A tad dictatorial, don't you think ?
3
@jackowens7636 You're assuming that he did, and you're assuming that he knew what the result was going to be. You obviously believe anything that suits your version
2
They must deprive Nigel of airtime, since they failed to discredit him. The head shaker was curiously absent in this vetted version
2
@hashburystumble8808 and, of course, the Scots have never hurt anyone. Braveheart is probably the extent of your "history" version. Cyclops has a more rounded view than you, bud
2
Sir flipflop "lost" his poppy, depending who's company he was in
2
@RedHeadForester Resources are finite, I'd expect a forester to realise that
2
@patrickquinlan3056 You seem fairly adept at ignoring the facts that don't fit with your cosy outlook
2
@patrickquinlan3056 Where I diverge from the Buddhists is I have no desire to abandon my ego, as it is the ultimate self preservation mechanism. Better to factor in ones awareness of the ego when one is formulating one's opinions imo. I've met people who think they have abandoned their egos, but are actually more egotistical than ever. The ego is intrinsic to the psyche and more than capable of deceiving its owner. Freud discusses this. Question everything is one of my guiding principles. Sense has to hang on a framework to have any meaning
2
@patrickquinlan3056 haha. You'll be reading Malthus next ( ! - )
2
@patrickquinlan3056 There's always more to learn. Not kicking off about your next answer, but the untenability of pyramid schemes is also worthy of consideration
2
Hoop jumper @RHLW
2
Wait. You don't ?
2
On the cutting room floor
2
The bingo callers have more to offer
2
The irony went missing some time ago
2
@hocolate271... or been told to think. Remember the "pandemic" ?
2
@hocolate271 you need to consider the extent to which you've been fed the narrative. Was Cameron a Brexiteer ?
2
@mahfuzurchowdhury2765 I'm saying that millions is being wasted on non jobs
2
No. I'm trying to say that there's an awful lot of unnecessary wastage. [Is that okay for you Mr YouTube censor ?]
2
They pretend to observe, whilst they're trying to steer the narrative
2
@conner.9262 I hope you're right. Word of mouth may be more important than ever
2
Sir flipflop must have got even more confused

@bereal6590 pot ... kettle ... black

Non sense @paulroundandroundandround
1
@DanTheStripe. The chances of that layout are 1 in 720. That's quite some coincidence
1
@DanTheStripe Come on, Dan. You understand probability. There's no way that wasn't contrived to emphasise Nigel's lack of chin, and the parties they want you to vote for going head to head in the middle. The reason Nigel didn't kick off is cos he's got too much nous for that. He knew they'd try to cast him in a bad light, and he knew he'd have to work round that to get any publicity. If you think that was random, you're not as smart as you think you are
1
@DanTheStripe and that's before the canned applause, contrived camera work, and hand picked audience.
1
@jackowens7636 whatever you say, spud
1
@jackowens7636 A pathetic analogy, followed by a baseless allegation. No wonder you're so miserable
1
@rokketron You seem to be revelling in victimhood, Ron
1
@rokketron Your obsession with dwelling on the "end times"
1
Starmer's not sure
1
@hashburystumble8808 You should ease off on that stuff, mate. It's warped your thinking, and not in a good way.
1
@hashburystumble8808 Shame your version is so warped
1
@ascgazz One area you lot excel at is rewriting history to suit yourselves. George Orwell noticed that, too. Blair bankrupted the economy. Remember "quantitative easing"? Or is that one of those uncomfortable truths you'd rather airbrush out ?
1
@patrickquinlan3056 Have you read any Malthus ?
1
@patrickquinlan3056 Thanks. "Facts are so uncomfortable when they contradict our opinions". Do you remember saying that ? At least I'm aware that resources are finite (uncomfortable though that fact is)
1
@patrickquinlan3056 My opinions have been formulated and have evolved according to my experiences and my encounters. If they didn't make sense, I wouldn't have them. I'm glad you seem to be quite thoughtful
1
@prashantduggal8235 You'd be lucky to hear mention of a pyramid scheme in an economics debate
1
Pyramid schemes are unsustainable. Just saying.
1
That seems to have cued the trolls
1
Muppet @vvDUCKMANvv
1
@matthewframpton8737 He's trying to help you, Matt. Why do you find that objectionable ?
1
Unlike the others, he's doing his best to fight the monster
1
That's the least of her shortcomings
1
@tomtative Yup. That's why we're voting for reform
