@basicfilmblog Resources are finite

@basicfilmblog All of them. It's not an opinion, it's categorical. If it's prohibitively expensive to find somewhere to live, it's because there's a housing shortage. Likewise, energy and foodstuffs. It's the law of supply and demand

@basicfilmblog Pyramid schemes are unsustainable. We have been dependant on nature's finite capacity for ever

@basicfilmblog I'm not the one who's trying to deny reality, here

@basicfilmblog "The trouble with stupid people is that they think everybody is as stupid as they are."

@basicfilmblog Sorry you find basic scientific principles so hard to grasp

@basicfilmblog Economics is subordinate to physics. You can print as much money as you like, it won't increase the availability of limited resources. You can invite as many people here as you like, it won't mean there's more to go round.

@basicfilmblog Economics is subordinate to physics. You can print as much money as you like, it won't increase the amount of resources, it'll just increase the prices. You can invite as many people here as you like, it won't mean there's more to go round, it'll just increase the prices, and at some point, shortages will become inevitable

@basicfilmblog And if you think we're not running out of resources, then there'd be a glut of everything, wouldn't there ?
2
@basicfilmblog Every raw material that exists, costs more now than it ever did before. The reason for that is because it's scarcer and there's less to go round (and money printing is the icing on the cake).
2
@basicfilmblog . "... because of inflation". You're all back to front. As I've tried to explain to you, that's why inflation occurs. "Read a book." LOL
