  3. I have put all the traps up for the year and all ready caught a few. They will be flying around the first warm sunny day in the spring. So get them up early. You must stop up all old holes or they will return to them. They are looking for a easy hole to nest in without having to make one. They are lazy that way i have noticed, But they will make a new hole. Even in panted wood. That's why the trap makes them a easy home to go to without having to work for it.

  52. I keep reading this...The younger trees are not but the 200+ years can be my friend. You say they are no trees around that old. Type in Logging history in the Smoky Mountains and look at the pictures. These Oak Tree species some live to be 300 to 500 years old. Indians where removed from here 180 years ago so you do the math. Nature made a lot, But so did man. All I can say my friend. Thanks for the comment.
