So you don't consider yourself an American?
8
@weltschmerz333 who are "those?"
2
@DiogenesTheBased how many kinds are there?
1
@lil_truth "We?" You think you have some kind of special claim just because of your skin tone? How sad.
1
@acoustichitman4544 including the ones that we brought over ourselves? Or the ones that were here before us? Or the ones that helped us build half the country? If you're so enthralled with Europeans, move to Europe.
1
@acoustichitman4544 including the ones we literally forced to be here? How about the ones that were here first? If you're so enamored with Europeans you should move to Europe.
1
@JourneyWithDrBill no, it's literally not. Changing demographics isn't what genocide means.
1
Our identity as Americans isn't "whites only." That opinion should be shamed.
1
@VioletMountain no, it's not. It isn't either of those things. Genocide involves mass killing. Ethnic cleansing is either mass killing or deportation of an unwanted group. Neither thing is happening.
1
@JourneyWithDrBill No it doesn't, at all. Did you actually bother looking up the UN's definition? Who's being replaced? White people? Ignoring for a moment that American isn't a race, 60% of the US is white with 72.5% identifying as white or part white. That's hardly "being replaced." Apparently your definition of genocide means "I have to see brown people."
1
They moved from one land to another to reside permanently. That's literally the definition of immigrants. Who should he learn respect for? You? You don't get automatic respect for being white.
1
@angelmartin7310 well, you didn't create it so should you be considered an American?
1
@angelmartin7310 lol, like ending slavery? Freedom and equality, literally our founding principals (supposedly) doomed this country?
1
@angelmartin7310 me too, what's your point? You still didn't create it. I'm also descended from the first white guy born in Tennessee. Do I get a badge or something? You think that makes anything at all "yours?" By all means be proud of your ancestors but that doesn't entitle you to anything. This nation is no more yours than it is any other citizens.
1
@angelmartin7310 oh hell I don't remember. My uncle did the genealogy thing. Who cares? And who cares what your ancestor might have said in your imagination? Did being in a tiny settlement at the edge of a continent that was already fully populated give him some divine right to demand the future of a land that he was an immigrant to?
1
@angelmartin7310 that's not what immigrant means. Native Americans weren't immigrants, their ancestors were over 10,000 years ago. Jamestown wasn't the founding of the United States so you just nullified your own example. Also, the United States grants full rights to any natural born citizen regardless of ancestry so your point is irrelevant twice.
1
@angelmartin7310 why? You didn't do it. You've never even seen a human sacrifice.
