@skylanders23 ignoring for a moment that trump (and/or his lackeys) are perfectly fine with, and guilty of, all of those things, those aren't really the core of fascism anyway. Lots of political ideologies practice, for example, censorship. That doesn't make them fascist.

@serpentines6356 not sure how the the build back better program is even remotely fascist. I'd say the real "core" of fascism is based on nationalism. That's really what the philosophy is all about in the first place. Roger Griffin says the following: "Fascism is a political ideology whose mythic core in its various permutations is a palingenetic form of populist ultra-nationalism." The word "palingenetic" in this case refers to notions of national rebirth.

Just because you keep hearing it doesn't mean the word has lost meaning. 2) trump goes on and on about going after his enemies and with this win he's openly getting rid of anyone that went against him. He's filed lawsuits against journalists and news organizations that publish things he finds offensive. Intolerance? Really? He's literally removing any mention of LGBT from CDC DOCUMENTS right now. He literally campaigned on intolerance "they're eating the dogs!" Censorship? His best buddy that bought his way into Washington runs X and actively blocks opposing views. Now he has Zuckerberg and Bezos in his camp too. You're blind.
