I love the part in which you explain how humiliating it's to ask a doctor sources about general topics during a manualistic university lesson when the whole point why people are there is not a bibliographical list but an actual historical explanation. The same goes for the example about the academic discussions at conferences. If one doesn't quite get this or what you're doing on this channel it's objectively their problem well beyond not knowing what specific source you are simply pouring out of your mind among the many and the original synthesis that you make. Unfortunately it's true that materialism and determinism have completely severed the masses from the understanding that the historical process is firstly a moral one and of authority, not a mechanistic repetition of somebody else's work which is at the end still about an intepretation that cannot be fully substantiated in the historical inquiry, especially because what it takes to fix it is still largely unconsidered. In other words, keep the others flying low and go on with this blessing of a channel
