  1. Yup Apple has a serious bank account. They can afford to sell cheaper but why bother. The stupid consumers will buy at higher prices. Samsung is doing the same too with their flagship model.

  2. karlos777x I agree. iPhone is just about status and people who want some thing that works without too many options. The latter group tends to be ones with disposable income so its not a problem for them to shell out the extra. Personally I will not buy an apple product. Noted though that I had an iPhone for 1 year that was assigned to me on a project. Not my money. Not my call. Anyway Apple is a closed system where things are propriety. I strongly disagree with that.
