Our manufacturing is orders of magnitude better than the 60's. Out material science is vastly superior. Our computing is millions to billions of times better (faster, smaller, minuscule power consumption etc). Computer simulations is common proactice now as opposed to calculations manual calculations. NASA has the original machines and plans. Surely common sense would dictate that NASA or contractors that are intended to support NASA would start from that point and progress it. Clearly this has not happened. Looks almost like the technology was lost and everyone started over from scratch with completely different approaches. Pull back and look at the facts.

@waffleboomerang6643 the space industry is sad. Name one other industry where they cannot even replicate what was done 50 years ago (specifically landing on the moon) after spending billions.
