  1.  @Roruoni  unfortunately a lot of the US big companies are financed in large part by military and security contracts. It just not in their interest to have peace. This war has been very good for the US. Not so much for Europe. Not good for Russia. Absolutely terrible for Ukraine. Look at who wins and you can tell who is pulling the strings.
