  23. My take is the Russians are awaiting the counter attack in Bakmut. That will allow them to destroy a lot more Ukrainian forces. If they crush Bakmut too fast then they unblocking will not happen and all the equipment in Chasiv Yar will just be deployed elsewhere making it more difficult to destroy.

  36. Looks like US and Russia wants to carve up the spoils so there is an incentive to get as much as possible before Ukraine signs a deal with US. Russia will not see anything Zelensky signs as legal but its still not worth open battle with the US. That said, I do not think Russia will rush too much to stretch themselves. That would be counter productive.

Some people find that so cute. It wears off though and reality bites. Zelensky is now there but like the spoil child he refuses to accept this.
