@vegasjw I was scrolling through the comments to see where this is picked up. Everyone seems happy to think is single phase 240V center tapped when its two independent phases. The description is not quite accurate. Further you are not allowed to connect ground to the neutral bar in my jurisdiction. Yes the bars are tied in the main panel but the ground wire goes to the ground bar and neutral wires to the neutral bar.
