  1. +@Rabmac1UK The problem wasn't inverted flight per se, but negative-G maneuvers. This was fixed later with a carburetor change. Sustained inverted flight in most WW2 aircraft would not be possible due to the oil pickups and oil systems of the aircraft. They are pressure lubricated but the oil scavenge pumps would not be effective.
