  3. Yes, cleaning and conservation is being done at RAF Museum, Cosford. A lot of the initial effort will be chemical treatments to remove salt from the metal before corrosion accelerates. Then further cleaning of each part. http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/ii204/leebee0/Dornier%2017/file-26.jpg

  4. Better said that they are conserving it. Careful cleaning and chemical extraction of the salts and minerals absorbed by the metal to stabilize it. Then reassemble and perhaps building missing parts so that it looks more complete. Not a flying rebuild.
