  1. The EU has no ability to control market prices. It can only cap what they are collectively prepared to pay. They have none, and will never have, any 'corrective mechanism'. The market can tell them to go whistle.

  2. The EU statement is an outright lie, pure gaslighting. They have not reached a deal. 'Details to be worked out'.... Why haven't they been 'worked out' already, they've had months to sort this out?! Because they don't have a working model or mechanism to initiate any cap and so no concrete deal has been reached. Propaganda 101.
