  2. But the government is NOT a good foil for crony capitalism. Entrepreneurship in a competitive market is much better. Instead, government is the principle way that crony capitalist power is attained and perpetuated. So, no, I don't worry about too little government power. Even during the roaring '20's, it was excessive government power that was the problem. Same with today. I doubt anyone would be able to argue with a straight face that government needs more power today. Not when members of Congress outperform the DOW with their own personal investments each and every year.
