  2. @ouis8348 Of course I think the nation has gotten worse under the Biden Admin. But your question presumes that my voting in a different way could have changed that. I live in a dark Blue state. My voting a different way would not have changed the electoral college outcome. Look, your vote can do only ONE thing: it can make you feel good or bad about how you voted. For me, personally, voting for the lesser of two evils makes me feel like crap. But voting Libertarian makes me feel good. It makes me feel like I have stood up and represented my values to the system. Holding my nose and voting for the lesser of evils hurts me. It means I have put my signature on partial evil. It hurts me. So, I won't do it. And if everyone did this, we would never have horrible choices of candidates like Bush, Carter, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, Dole, McCain, Obama, Biden and Trump. Voting Libertarian means I share no guilt for the bad things my candidate does while in office.

  4. The CPI is a lie. Inflation is double the reported official government numbers. This means GDP is lower than they report, because they have to adjust GDP data for inflation. And they use the official rate. For better numbers on inflation, see Shadowstats or The Chapwood Index.

  9. Inflation is a stealth tax on the poor and middle class. It is totally created by the government. The rich know how to avoid losing money due to inflation. Inflation comes from government over-spending, excessive money creation by banks and the federal reserve, and Fed Reserve interest rates being too low.

  12. When goods cross borders, troops tend not to. Makes no sense to attack a valuable customer, or a needed supplier. Just before WW2, the US Smoot Hawley tariff shut down trade with Germany. Bad thing. I want strong trade inter-dependance with China. Trade tends to help people on both sides of borders, as it undermines totalitarianism. Yeah, let's not share military technology with them. But free trade should be for everything else.

When the politicians have more power to meddle in markets, this just gives the rich and the CEO's more power to buy with campaign contributions and bribes! Power corrupts. The private sector creates better jobs with the money left un-taxed. We The People need to reduce the size and scope of the US Federal government. Returning to the limitations of the Constitution would be a great start!

All government schools should be privatized, and a full-ride scholarship should be given to the bottom half. We should have a separation of school and state. It makes no sense to give politicians the power to indoctrinate the children.

They changed the method for calculating it since the 80's and again in the 90's and a few times after that in order to hide the true rate. Check out shadowstats. If a more accurate version of inflation is used, the GDP growth is actually negative. Inflation is closer to 8%.
