  1. Once you're married, "going to another restaurant" is not technically allowed. Violating that rule might end the marriage. And if kids are involved, we have a real problem with that. At that point, the man is stuck.

And the state will require that you pay generous child support, yet give you limited access to your kids. In this society a wife has you over a barrel. That's just reality.
