  8. Nah. Remember how the Soviet Union collapsed in '92? Why did it collapse? Because it's economy was centrally planned. Inefficient. Deng moved China towards free markets, and it grew. But now China has gone back to central planning. All we have to do is wait, and China will collapse. Add to that their coming demographic collapse, and their difficulty gaining access to oil and other energy, and you can see we have little to fear from China. All we have to do is try to keep the US free, and we will be fine. But guys like this want to make us less free. They want higher taxes to pay for government spending programs. They want more power to the US government. This guy read his Orwell, and is using it as an instruction manual.

It is a major step in the direction of dictatorship in the US. Fiat money is bad, but imagine a fiat money that the feds could control while it is still in your bank account? Negative interest rates, no privacy from the politicians, the ability for the feds to shut down your access to your own money if you disagree with it, or withdraw taxes without asking. It's a nightmare for any patriotic American.

That means Biden can't force big corps to fire unvaxxed employees, and it also means DeSantis in FL can't force corps NOT to fire them. This is just government overreach. And cops and firefighters and teachers should also not be fired if the refuse to get vaxxed. Peaceful persuasion works better.

The NSA spying, the undermining of the 2nd Amendment, the violations of free speech by government-protected tech entities, and the violations of the 10th Amendment (all the fed agencies not authorized in the Constitution such as the Dept of Education) mean that the Fed Govt is in material breach of the Social Contract. Under those conditions, we do not have to pay taxes. And the states are just as bad.

  43. We're going to miss cash when it's gone. The central bank will issue digital currency. And they will know everything you buy. Also, if you exceed your monthly quota of gasoline, they will be able to disallow your purchase. And then we have self-driving cars. People will think its great to get in the car, tell it where to go, and not have to drive. It will be safer, too. The AI will be better at driving than we will be. But your destination will now be up for approval or disapproval. Is your trip really necessary? Is it worth the energy expenditure? And when people don't have to learn to drive, a lot of people won't bother to learn to drive. And this will make us weaker and more dependent. So, keep driving. Keep using cash. We will miss these things when they are gone, and each use of cash and personal vehicle is a vote for their continued use. I pay cash whenever I can. Cash is privacy. Cash is liberty.

Addiction is bad, but prohibition is not the solution. Now, we should also not be subsidizing it. There should be no safe injection sites or needle exchange programs funded by taxpayers. And private charities, most of them religious, are the best way to fight homelessness and addiction. But making drugs illegal just makes things worse.
