  2. Operation Mincemeat. The Brits PURPOSLY leaked bad intel to the Nazis in preparation for the D-Day landings. It is amazing people haven't considered that possibility in this situation.

  5. What if it was intentional counter-intelligence? It looks to me like it was cooked up by the same kinds of people that implemented Operation: Mincemeat in WW2.
