  1. Indeed. In the US, most power comes from coal and natural gas. Unless there is widespread adoption of nuclear fission power, the net emissions from electric will be higher than combustion.

  2.  @gerhardk98  First off, it is the height of hubris to think that man is the cause of climate change. Mount Pinatubo's 1991 eruption produced more CO2 and SO2 than all of humanity combined. And that was nothing compared to the 1815 eruption of Mount Tambora which caused the "year without a summer". The only constant in nature is change so claims that man is the cause is just bad methodology; there is no control much less a baseline to sus out human impacts.

  3.  @gerhardk98  That is not an argument, that just proves you are repeating theological mantras. The Green movement is just modern-day Earth Goddess worship. I have no problems with neo-paganism. What I DO take issue with is when people demand that I change my lifestyle just to satisfy their ego. Your religion does not get to violate my right to self-determination.
