@Vitalis94 Noting special except that many famous German philosophers came from there. Such intellectual giants like Immanuel Kant. Then you have the fact that before the rise of the Prussian elites, it was part of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.

@M0butu I didn't disagree with the premise that Konigsberg wasn't beautiful nor that it did not attract painters and artists. I was simply slapping down the false claim that there was noting importation nor special about the city. Oh, and Petrograd (Leningrad) IS a Baltic city as the Gulf of Finland is a part of the Baltic Sea.
