Yeah, but at least there would be the stench of Disney's corpse on them. I think you greatly underestimate how other companies view the people who bring about the demise of their previous employer. Caterpillar didn't hire a single factory worker from Perkins engine after that company went belly up in the 80s.

@victorcates9330 Disney Plus was Iger's baby, one he left in critical condition before he left. Loss of Cricket in India was a major reason for its troubles.

Disney's greatest productions came about because of legitimate competition: Don Bluth, Fox Animation, Hannah-Barbarra, et. al. Today the only real competition they face is from Anime. And Disney is too stupid to realize that Japanese companies like Kadokawa are going to eat their lunch.

@venkate5hgunda Lady Tremaine was more principled than the freaks running the show at Disney. She understood subtly and nuance and wielded her power over others like a scalpel. They use that same power like a cudgel. In that, she is much more respectable.

@boxingfan2796 For all his flaws, I was willing to credit Chapek for at least TRYING to make the company profitable. But alas, he didn't have the balls to stand up to the wokeistas the way Zazlav has.
