@josephrogers8213 I agree. Women SHOULD be drafted, and we should reactivate the WW2 WAVEs, WASPs, and WAACs. There is no reason why women can't staff the shore batteries.

@Student0Toucher Foreign nationals who serve in the US military DO get citizenship. It has been a law on the books since the 1970s at least. And it arguably goes back to the Irish who fought in the Civil War. This myth that military service doesn't equate to citizenship for foreign nationals is a lie told by the left to fool folks on the right to agree to something that is already in place. Further, the naturalization process is not only fast tracked (2 years instead of ten), BUT ALL OF THE REGISTRATION FEES ARE ALSO WAIVED.

@dylanwight5764 Indeed. At that point the enemy at the doorstep makes all other considerations fall by the wayside. Further, very quickly the incompetent politicians in uniform will find themselves either forced out because of their lack of effectiveness, or they will find themselves among the list of casualties. War when one's homeland is threatened weeds out the weak and what remains can become a very effective force as we are seeing in the Ukraine. The wokeness will evaporate in the face of an opponent who doesn't give a damn about feelings.

@Student0Toucher Wow, can you actually name a specific example or are you simply parroting what the media tells you? AFN makes commercials specifically about military service and citizenship, ones that are VERY easy to look up if you bother to actually search for them. And they make a big deal about talking to base legal office for the details on how to go about it. No, those "veterans" that you claim get deported, IF THEY ACTUALLY EXIST, didn't bother to do the bare minimum of simply filling out the paperwork to maintain their status. If you can't be bothered to actually do that, then it is clear that citizenship doesn't mean anything. If anything, your example proves that they have only themselves to blame for not doing their due diligence. It is clear you know NOTHING about the process. My wife is a naturalized citizen, and she can tell you how obnoxiously easy it is. to do the paperwork. The hardest part is actually the interview process.
