Yup. Case in point is North Korea.

What do you mean by "mature" developed economy? The Chinese play fast and loose with that description. Case in point: a "developing" economy doesn't really have the resources to finance a space program. it is a luxury that only a developed economy can afford.

@2KSnSLifestyle Oh, I am sure that there is a coming economic crisis. Command economies invariably experience a brutal one when they try to control market forces. But I do agree with you that if you are a developing country, you don't have any justifiable reason to build nuclear boomers and carriers.

@eduwino151 And rural parts of the US are also third world. Hell, the state of California is more third world than most of China now! So that argument doesn't cut it. PS, it isn't your wifie and cell phone coverage that makes you a modern country, it is the plumbing and sanitation that does. Can you safely drink the tap water?

@user-jt3dw6vv4x Back for more trolling I see. You blatantly miss the point that money wasted on a space program could be better spent to improving the economy and the livelihood of the citizens.

@2KSnSLifestyle Yeah, up from what? Near zero in 2021 because of their zero Covid lockdown policies? Don't forget that the port of Shanghai was practically closed for almost an entire year. You are making a mountain out of a molehill. "Figures don't lie, but liars figure" -Samuel Clemens, aka Mark Twain. "Lies, damn lies, and statistics," -Mark Twain.

@user-jt3dw6vv4x "It was a mistake for me to reply to you. I should have known this man doesn't have it in him to move on." Sour grapes dude. learn not to poke a bear unless you want to get mauled. Touch grass.

@2KSnSLifestyle Not really when you are starting from next to zero. Percentages are meaningless. What really matters is the raw numbers. Again, China's ports have been closed to outgoing trade for over a year now, and your numbers do NOT reflect that.

@2KSnSLifestyle Yeah, and how much of that product was delivered BEFORE China shut down their ports? You clearly don't understand how logistics and delivery works. Closures of the ports have a delayed reaction. Waldo, do keep in mind that Russia used to be SECOND World order. The only reason why they are third world status now is because of the collapse of the old Soviet Union, something they never truly recovered from. And @K ', I have clearly triggered you. That fact that I got under your skin so easily shows how superficial you and your arguments are. Your problem is that you don't realize when you are wrestling with pigs; you get dirty, and the pig enjoys it.
